Chop Suey From: Linda Lewis Thompson Category: Entrée Half Stick Butter 1lb. round steak Half lb. lean pork Half lb. chicken salt and pepper 2 T. soy sauce 2 large onions, diced 1 bunch celery, diced 1 can Chinese veg. 1 can bean sprouts 1 small can mushrooms 1 can sliced water chestnuts 1 T. corn starch Heat meat in pressure cooker. Season with salt and pepper, onions, and soy sauce. Place cover on cooker. Allow steam to flow from vent pipe to release all air from cooker. Place indicator weight on vent pipe and cook for 10 minutes with steam at cook position. Simmer celery in butter. Add canned vegetables, mushrooms, and water chestnuts. Add vegetables to cooker. Heat in open cooker to boil and thicken with corn starch dissolved in water. Serve with steamed rice or dried noodles, tossed salad, and hard rolls. Serves apprx. 6
